I don't regret picking it up since it's a difficult album to find on vinyl, but i'm glad i didn't pay much more for it. Timmons died young due to cirrhosis of the liver in 1974, at age 38. I don't have another version on vinyl to compare it to, but i do have miles davis' the original quintet (first recording) which is also a dmm from waxtime and it sounds much more.
